• Jados (previously Stumass) can provide specialised guidance and support for students with autism. Through Jados, you can find housing in one of their residential locations or student houses or receive guidance at your home.
• Villa Abel is another organisation that offers housing-related guidance to students with autism. Villa Abel operates in Rotterdam and Leiden.
• DUWO. The student housing organisation DUWO has an urgency-based placement scheme for student houses in Leiden. The criteria for urgency can be requested using the contact form on their website. Urgency is granted only in highly exceptional cases, such as when there is a time-sensitive medical or psychosocial reason for doing so.
• SSH& has rooms in Arnhem and Nijmegen. You are eligible for travel-based urgency if your travel time (commute) exceeds two hours. If – for personal or medical reasons – you have an extremely urgent need for housing, or if you need specific facilities, you can submit a request to the Allocation Committee. SSH& also has a building where students with disabilities can rent a room and receive guidance: Hoogeveldt.
• SSH. In some cases, the student housing organisation SSH (which has rooms in Rotterdam, Utrecht, Zwolle, Tilburg, Groningen, Maastricht and Amersfoort) will grant priority at the request of a student counsellor. This happens only in urgent situations. If you think you might qualify for urgent placement, you should discuss this with your student counsellor.
• Idealis provides student rental housing in Wageningen. If you need a room (or a different room) due to medical circumstances, you can apply to the student counsellor at Wageningen U&R for urgent placement on medical grounds. If you are experiencing mental health issues, you can talk to the student psychologist at the university and request urgent placement on psychosocial grounds.
• Lefier offers rooms for rent in the city of Groningen. You can indicate that you are looking for a modified room, or you may qualify for urgent placement if you have a physical disability or a disease.
• Klikvoorkamers.nl. Are you looking to rent a wheelchair-accessible room or studio in Tilburg or Breda? If so, you can contact Klik voor Kamers via the link.
• StudentRoomsBrabant provides student rental housing for students who are enrolled in an educational institution in Den Bosch. This includes not only housing in Den Bosch, but in other places in the Brabant region as well.
• Maastrichthousing. If you need preferential treatment for medical reasons, you can contact the following support agency for people with disabilities.
