Ask your educational institution for help wherever possible and make sure to report any problems you encounter as soon as you can. In many cases, a study adviser or student counsellor can refer you to someone who is knowledgeable about the financial possibilities at your school; they may also be able to help you apply for such aid, when you expect to incur a study delay, for instance. That way, you can avoid being too late in submitting your request for these accommodations!

As a student at a college or university, you are entitled to student finance until the age of 30. You will usually get this for the official duration of your education.  Do you have a type I residence permit or are you from an EU/EEA country, Switzerland or the United Kingdom? Or is your partner or parent from one of these countries? You are not entitled to the municipality's individual study allowance if you already have Wajong.
